After much speculation on who will be the new operator of the former Otangani Disco it can be revealed that Mauricio Granja took over the building and is now redoing the structure completely. Granja is also the PLC candidate in the upcoming Mayoral election in November. Hopefully the new Disco will be ready to operate end of June 2008.

Tropical Storm hits the beach

What was briefly "Hurricane Alma" buffeted the beach in San Juan del Sur. Flooding, uncrossable roads, and sunken fishing boats reported. But the sun is out again. WATCH VIDEO
