With the slogan, "For Bi-National Tourism Without Borders" the sixth National Tourism Convention will be held in San Juan del Sur later this month. This is primarily an INTUR (Instituto Nicaragüense de Turismo) event involving some 400 participants and is aimed at encouraging tourism throughout Nicaragua.

The Mayor of San Juan del Sur, Eduardo Hollman believes that Nicaragua is a natural additional destination for tourists visiting Costa Rica and it needs to seize the opportunity to attract these visitors to Nicaragua.

For this reason, among the guests at the convention will be Costa Rican Government Officials and Business Leaders, especially from the Guanacaste Province that borders the Municipality of San Juan del Sur. The convention will allow for an exchange of experience between entrepreneurs, government officials and their peers from each Country.

There will be about ten presentations on relevant topics and the latest tourism news for Nicaragua such as the coastal road and sustainable tourism development in our country.
